A native Nova Scotian, Polycarpe LeBlanc, is a stained glass artist living in the beautiful Margaree Valley on Cape Breton Island. The magestic beauty of his surroundings, combined with the magic of art glass, has inspired this artist's varied creations and often one of a kind art pieces.
Although his background has included church restoration, glass etching and lead window construction, his love lies with the more laborious traditional copper foil method allowing for more detail to be expressed in his designs that follow the traditions of Tiffany which utilizes real stained glass and incorporates traditional copper foil and solder techniques.
